The Romantic Snowball Fight!!

This Valentine's Day, Clara & Adam had their engagement portraits done. Clara wanted images in the snow and we were very lucky the snowfall from the previous day had not yet melted. Clara and Adam decided to have a snowball fight to top off a fun winter engagement session.

Tomorrows Bad Seeds

Last nite at the Sokol Underground I photographed two emerging bands in the reggae/ska/rock movement. Cornerstone Dub based out of Lincoln, Nebraska has been opening for such acts like Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, The Toasters and Jah Roots. Cornerstone Dub's future is a tour with Tomorrows Bad Seeds this summer and a new cd.

A sound like no other is the only way to describe Tomorrows Bad Seeds. It is with this goal that L.A’s Tomorrows Bad Seeds has emerged onto the scene and is quickly gaining momentum as one of the hottest rising bands in Southern California. In between their tour with The Wailers they decided to play a show at Knickerbockers in Lincoln, NE and Sokol in Omaha.

Jeremy & Sarah Smith Wedding

Jeremy & Sarah Smith were married on December 28, 2008. It was a beautiful ceremony at the Berean Church. The reception followed at the Country Club of Lincoln. The bridesmaids thought you would like a image of them in their winter shawls. Scroll down and see for your self. Enjoy!

Jarod & Sarah Trouba Winter Wedding

Jarod & Sarah married on December 6th, 2008. Sarah got ready with her bridesmaids at the Grand Manse. Shortly after, Jarod and his groomsmen showed up for pictures. The Grand Manse was formerly the US courthouse and post office. Jarod and Sarah picked great locations to be photographed, from the Beautiful Elevator, The Art Gallery and the Courtroom. You had a beautiful winter wedding!

Junkyard Bride!

Want different bridal portraits? Kasandra Smith wanted something totally different. I think we accomplished that by going to a junkyard. Not the Capital nor a park but a junkyard. Much thanks goes to all the people who contributed to the photo shoot:
Petal Creations for the fabulous bouquets.
Tausha Ostrander, the owner of Serenity Salon, for creating the rock star updo!
Jeremy Johnson great friend and a incredible wedding photographer from Bellevue NE.
I cannot forget Cali with A SoundImpression who captured the photo shoot on video.

Ashley's senior photo shoot!

Who knew we could have so much fun on a senior photo shoot?! Ashley and her family met me at Roca Berry Farms. Out of the endless backgrounds and props at this location, the cupcake was my favorite. Ashley is not only a wonderful subject but an aspiring photographer. I hope I can offer you some inspiration!

Beach Portraits in October?

I'll photograph where ever you want me to: junkyard, backyard, schoolyard, even the beach. I had the opprotunity to photograph Abbie Olson and Chris Niles' engagement portraits at Branched Oak Lake. The lighting was perfect at sunset.
