Adam & Clara

May 16th Talmage Nebraska time 12:00 Clara was finishing up make up and putting on the dress. This wedding was a blast. I had a ton of cool ideas in my head for images and this couple was up for all of them. St Joseph's church in Talmage was on dirt road on the top of a hill. This scenery could be in a movie. After the ceremony we headed to the farm for a couple location shots of the wedding party. Stay tune and see ya soon!

Nebraska Photographer meets L.A.

Logan & Nicole were married on May 11, 2009. The first stop of the day was The Bridal Bar, where the couple got ready in the morning. Our all day photo shoot continued at a small and intimate park in West Hollywood.

Venice Beach was next on the agenda for cool location portraits. I mentioned to Logan & Nicole that I photograped at this location prior to their wedding. They loved the idea of a paint park and the beach.

After a 20 minute drive we hit St. Monica Pier for some images on the boardwalk. No funnel cakes that day; I was too excited for the change of scenery from downtown Lincoln, NE.

At 7:15 pm the ceremony began on Zuma Beach. There's nothing like an intimate wedding on the beach with the waves crashing just feet away.

Venice Beach Model Shoot

High noon, Friday the 8th,Chenoa Mason needed updated images for her portfolio. We had an hour to shoot before she left to Phoenix for the weekend. Venice Beach, California had a paint park, which is an area that graffiti artists can spray paint legally. Perfect: new backgrounds for Corey to photograph on.

Erin & Craig April 25, 2009

Erin & Craig married on April 5, 2009. It rained most of the day but that didn't stop the wedding party from having a good time. We spent some time at the Lincoln Capitol taking a few formal and contemporary images. Then we went out into the rain for few fun illustrative images. Then the wedding party crossed the the street and walked down the aisle at St Mary's Cathederal. Before heading off to Hilcrest Country Club, we met the wedding party at the Marz bar for some bar shots. But these weren't your ordinary images at the bar. Have fun in Hawaii. Corey

Death of a Leprachaun

Michael Rourke, a shoemaker had worked a long and hard day repairing shoes for the people of Omaha, Nebraska. When the day ended Michael decided to go to his favorite pub, the Dubliner. As Michael sat drinking his pint of Guinness, his waitress started taking a liking to him. A local photographer took some portraits of the two of them as they talked. The leprechaun counted his riches while the waitress looked on thinking her flattering looks deserved some of his pot of gold. Mr. Rourke smelled the waitress' greed and waited until he was out of the waitress' sight to make his escape out the back. To his surprise the waitress was at the top of the steps and ready to give the Leprechaun a good push.

All images were sketched, directed, and created by CATTURA VITA. Special thanks to models Rodney and Sarah, as well as the Dubliner. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Kasey & Kyle's Wedding

Kasey & Kyle were married March 7, 2009. Cold but fun is the best way to describe their wedding. We picked a random dirt road in Valley, Nebraska to photograph. The wedding party braved the cold to get some fun shots. From there we went to two different bars. These are some of the coolest wedding portraits I've taken in a bar. The reception was at the Regency Lodge in Omaha. A memorable time at the reception was when two guys in the wedding party decided to go to the hotel bar and take over the piano bar. Great job on the piano!
